New enemy, high scores, and gameplay tweaks
After a little bit of time to rest and think about what BAD VIBES needed, I felt it was necessary to make a couple of small but vital changes. Firstly, I fine-tuned the controls a bit, mostly so that the mouse movement is faster and more precise. Then I decided to add a new enemy to the maze, mostly to spice things up and offer some variation on the baddies you're all crushing.
Last but certainly not least, I implemented a new high score system. So now every time you actually beat the game it stores your score in the game as well as in the online database. Whenever your new score is higher than the one before it, it updates your high score in the game and on the global leaderboard. I've so far been able to 725 myself, and I'm excited to see if anyone can kick me out of first place. If you pay attention, there's actually a handful of tricks and secrets you can use to rack up more points. It's all in the details!
